Aqua Shop Indoor Surfing
Category: Attractions
Address: 6121 W Park Blvd Plano, TX 75093, USA
Phone: 469-366-0110

The FlowRider, and its budding sport of FlowBoarding, is  often linked to surfing. Although this is an easy mistake to make, FlowBoarding on a FlowRider is a truly unique experience that reflects all sorts of board sports, making for an easier learning curve but also leaving room for some truly impressive tricks.

In a nutshell (or in our case, a big glass enclosure), the FlowRider generates a thin sheet of water that flows over a stationary wave form. That’s a very technical way of saying we have a year-round, surfable wave inside our store… That’s right, our wave is indoors!

Riders have the option of skimming the wave on a bodyboard, or testing their skills on a Stand-Up or FlowBoard. Both styles are easy to pick up, and come with a long list of tricks to learn.

Our mission is to create and foster connections between people through unique and interactive entertainment. Our Escape episodes provide an experience that invites creative thinking and collaborative teamwork. At Red Door, you will have the opportunity to UNPLUG and ENGAGE as you immerse yourself in the challenge!!

Red Door didn’t start off as a business, it started as a game, a very strange game in a church.

After playing his first escape game in October 2014, Dan Huynh discovered a passion for this new concept that is currently sweeping the world. He wanted to bring this amazing experience to the college students at his church and so decided to design his own escape game. It was meant to be an enjoyable game as well as a team building exercise for all players. He used his church's century old building as the eerie setting for the game which also helped develop the story of the game as well. Thus, the escape episode ‘CONFINEMENT' was created.

The Club at Los Rios in Plano is where the great traditions of golf are blended with the wonders of modern country club living that is open to the public.

The golf course at Los Rios has an outstanding history in the Dallas area having been designed in 1974 by Texas golf legend Don January. The traditional layout spreads over 220 acres and features tree-lined fairways and generous sized Bermuda greens. The natural terrain for this 6,507 yard, par-71 course is studded with Live Oak trees and etched by the waters of a meandering creek that comes into play on 14 of 18 holes. Eight glistening ponds are found throughout the course, adding an additional test for golfers. The trees narrow the fairways providing you with an unforgettable round that challenges your skills.
