Plano Rides Legacy Circulator is a fixed route shared shuttle circulator connecting offices, hotels, and restaurants in the Legacy District area. Simply hop on at any stop along the Blue Line or Red Line and ride to your destination. Rides cost $1.50 for each one-way ticket or $3 for a 24-hour day pass; children ages 5 and under when accompanied by an adult are free. Purchase and activate your ticket in the Citymapper app before boarding. There is no on-board payment – you must have a pre-activated ticket in Citymapper. No transfers between the Legacy Circulator and the Plano Rides Senior Service (info below). Rides are available Monday-Sunday 8am-10pm. Routes run every 15 minutes.
Plano Rides offers a new on-demand and affordable transportation option for residents age 65 and older. The service provides affordable, curb-to-curb rides across the city, with a 1.5 mile service area beyond Plano’s borders for added flexibility. Rides may be shared with others heading in the same direction and cost $1.50 per ride, or you can purchase a day pass for $3. Book your ride on the app or by calling 972-210-0141. Visiting Dallas and traveling on toll roads? The best way to get around town is the Zip-Pass from the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA). Zip-Pass offers a convenient way to pay tolls when driving a rental vehicle or a borrowed car on NTTA toll roads. A Zip-Pass account is a short-term method to pay for tolls, helping you to avoid added fines, fees and opt-in costs charged by rental car companies. It offers you the assurance that your tolls are paid on time and you won’t incur late fees from the NTTA. The account can be opened for just $5 a day with a minimum balance of $20. The account will be rebilled if the balance goes below $10. Most importantly, your unused balance is returned to your account instead of the use-it-or-lose-it approach of third-party agreements.
