Let’s face it, people love their wine. After a busy day exploring Plano, by all means you deserve a glass! Here’s a list of local restaurants and wine shops offering unique wine experiences.

Corner Wines offers monthly wine tastings and hosts other special events throughout the year. Check their website for upcoming events.

Cru located at the chic Shops at Legacy is the first wine bar in Texas to offer 30 wines by the glass and 300 splendid bottles from all over the world at every price point. Not sure what to get? Try a wine flight by sampling three 2 oz. wines that are related to each other by grape varietal, geographic region, or style. Pair with their Napa-inspired menu on the intimate patio or cozy lounge and you’re in for an enjoyable and relaxing night.

Premier Wines of Plano has open tastings every Saturday from 1 p.m. — 4 p.m. They also offer private wine classes and mini wine tastings for private events. See their website for more information and to inquire.

From Argentinean Malbecs to South African Chenin Blancs, Seasons 52 has a wine in their extensive collection to pair with any occasion. Each wine is hand-selected by George Miliotes, one of fewer than 250 Master Sommeliers in the world!

Sip & Savor is a neighborhood restaurant serving California wine country inspired food and wine out of an adorable 1893 Victorian home in northwest Plano. The menu is created by classically trained chefs delivering California-inspired offerings, always fresh and local when possible. Sip & Savor owners travel often to seek out new wines for you to try.

The new Sixty Vines in Plano offers 40 wines and 20 beers by the tap and has a remarkable dining menu to accompany it. According to Sixty Vine’s, wine on tap is an eco-friendly and wine lover-friendly way to serve wine. Enjoy amazing cuisine inspired by the wine country. Ingredients are thoughtfully sourced, uniquely prepared, and change with the season depending on the products available from local farmers and small growers. Pair great wine, amazing food, and a chic atmosphere and you’re in for a delectable treat. 

Urban Crust in the Downtown Plano Arts District frequently hosts wine and beer pairing dinner events. Check their website for upcoming events.

Also, the Downtown Plano Art & Wine Walk will be back in 2017; the second Thursday of every month April through December!
