Look to the skies for one of Plano’s signature celebrations, the 2026 H-E-B | Central Market Plano Balloon Festival, happening September 17–20 at Oak Point Park / Redtail Pavilion. See more than 35 colorful hot-air balloons and special shapes fill the festival grounds, with evening balloon glows and morning launches planned throughout the weekend, weather permitting. Beyond the balloons, festivalgoers can enjoy live performances, including the Plano Symphony’s Big Band Concert, Midtown 10, Plano Community Band, Collin County Children’s Chorus, and Ice House Band.
