The City of Plano partnered with Toyota, American Park Network, and Time Warner Cable to provide free public Wi-Fi at parks and recreation centers. This service gives visitors free internet access both indoors and outdoors.
At outdoor locations, visitors can connect to the Oh, Ranger! Wi-Fi network. These locations include Arbor Hills Nature Preserve, High Point Tennis Center, Haggard Park, Carpenter Park, and Oak Point Park.
At indoor recreation centers, visitors can access the free service through the available Time Warner Cable hotspot. Simply select the network in your mobile device’s Wi-Fi settings.
This partnership makes it easier for residents and visitors to stay connected while enjoying Plano’s parks and recreation facilities. For example, visitors can share photos from a nature walk at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve or Oak Point Park. Remember to tag #VisitPlano when posting your outdoor adventures on social media!
