Four of our city’s recreation centers welcome “drop-in” visitors for a nominal fee. Amenities at each center vary but many include indoor tracks, racquetball, volleyball and squash courts, pools, gymnasiums, weight rooms and playgrounds.

A day pass for adults aged 16 and older is just $6. Or make it a family workout. Day passes for children aged 3-15 are just $3; children under 2 are free when accompanied by a paying adult.

Two major parks within the city of Plano offer great opportunities to connect with the outdoors.

Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve
At 800 acres, this park has 3.5 miles of concrete trails and 5 miles of soft trails along Rowlett Creek. Open from sunrise to sunset.

Arbor Hills Nature Preserve
A 200-acre park with hike and bike trails, a 2-mile walking trail and stunning views of the prairie and forest. Open daily from 5 a.m. until 11 p.m.
