July 4th will be celebrated a little differently this year for most Americans, but we are proud to still be able to offer a few events to help celebrate the birth of our great nation.
We are so happy the City of Plano will keep its annual July 4th fireworks tradition alive this year with a few necessary changes. The fireworks will launch on higher ground and at a higher altitude (500-600 feet compared to 300-500 feet) allowing them to be seen from farther away. Families are encouraged to view the fireworks from their own homes, vehicles or neighborhoods. Though there will be no “festival” like in years past, the fireworks will still be set to music on radio station KLAK 97.5 in the DFW area.
We are proud to unify and rally as a community to celebrate our great nation, even in times of uncertainty.
