Children’s Chorus of Collin County

Founded in 2006, the Children’s Chorus of Collin County is a nonprofit, audition-only choir that offers an exceptional choral experience for students in grades 3–12 throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth region. Known for its artistic excellence, the chorus performs a wide-ranging repertoire, including classical, folk, jazz, Broadway, and global selections, on both local and prestigious stages, from Plano’s Courtyard Theater to renowned venues like Carnegie Hall, Canterbury Cathedral, and the Eisemann Center.

Plano Comedy Festival, Inc.

Each November, Plano Comedy Festival, Inc. lights up the local entertainment scene with a week packed full of laughter and creativity. Taking place at Mic Drop Comedy Plano in The Shops at Legacy, and in collaboration with Backdoor Comedy Club, the festival offers an eclectic mix of more than 20 events. From stand-up and sketch shows to improv, magic acts, workshops, roast battles, and even a family-friendly performance, there’s something for every comedy lover. Since launching in June 2018, this City of Plano-supported event has become a highlight, drawing hundreds of comedians from around the world and contributing to the region’s growing reputation as a hub for live performance and artistic expression.

The Shine Arts Foundation

The Shine Arts Foundation, also recognized as Shine Performing Arts Studio, is a nonprofit youth theater in Plano that inspires and supports students ages 8–18 through meaningful, faith-based experiences in the performing arts. Dedicated to building confidence, creativity, and character, Shine offers a robust array of year-round programs. These include up to eight full-scale musicals each season, along with classes in acting, dance, and voice through its premier Academy. In addition, the foundation provides private lessons, audition coaching, and dynamic summer camps that spark imagination and nurture talent in young performers.

Dallas Asian American Youth Orchestra (DAAYO)

The Dallas Asian American Youth Orchestra (DAAYO) is a nonprofit organization that offers advanced orchestral education and performance experiences to young musicians across the Dallas-Fort Worth region. Welcoming students from all cultural backgrounds, DAAYO is dedicated to fostering musical excellence while honoring Asian heritage through its diverse ensemble offerings, which include symphony, concert, and string orchestras. Helping students develop both their musical skills and leadership qualities in a supportive, multicultural environment.

Plano Metropolitan Ballet, Inc.

Established in 1987, Plano Metropolitan Ballet is a nonprofit ballet company located in Plano, Texas, led by Artistic Director Cindi Lawrence Hanson since 1998. Each January, Plano Metropolitan Ballet presents a unique original fairy-tale ballet, bringing beloved stories like Cinderella, Aladdin, and The Frozen Kingdom to life on stage. In addition to its hallmark winter productions at the Courtyard Theater, Plano Metropolitan Ballet connects with the wider community by participating in local festivals, outdoor performances, and its annual Dance Plano! showcase. North Texas Performing Arts (NTPA) Plano

Established in 1991 as Plano Children’s Theatre, the organization has since evolved into the nation’s leading youth theater program. Housed within the Willow Bend Center of the Arts, NTPA features top-tier performance spaces, including two full-scale mainstage theaters, flexible black-box venues, and dedicated rehearsal studios. McCall Plaza
