Bulla Gastrobar

This authentic Spanish tapas restaurant at Legacy West has a delicious margarita not to be missed. Bulla’s Spanish margarita is made of Jimador Reposado, triple sec, Lustau Amontillado sherry, lime juice, and agave nectar. Pair this with Huevos ‘Bulla’ (eggs, homemade potato chips, Serrano ham, potato foam, and truffle oil) and your meal is off to a great start!

Haywire

Haywire’s Amarillo By Morning beverage is made with Front Burner’s hand-selected Barrel Codigo Rosa tequila, orange liqueur, elderflower liqueur, grapefruit, lemon, simple syrup, and grenadine. Picture yourself drinking this tasty drink by the fire while overlooking the Legacy Hall Box Garden.

Mesero

Mesero at Legacy West has an incredible selection of over 15 margaritas on their menu! Here are a few stand-outs: La Perfección made with Double Barrel Herradura, Cointreau, citrus, lava salt, and get this… gold! Next is the Jalapína made with Herradura Reposado, piña fresco, jalapeño, Cointreau, and citrus. And lastly, The Brandon, a frozen original margarita with fresh mango, strawberry purée, and sangria. Yum!

Mexican Bar Company

At Mexican Bar Company in The District at The Shops at Willow Bend, their shaking up some tasty margaritas. Try the Hot Guava made with Espolon blanco tequila, guava, habanero, Grand Marnier, lime juice, and agave nectar. For a more classic twist, try the Pinadito made with Milagro Reposado tequila, Guajillo syrup, pineapple, and lime juice.

Mexican Sugar

Margaritas at Mexican Sugar at The Shops at Legacy are their specialty. With 8 margaritas on the menu, they span from classic to spicy and even pineapple flavored. A fan favorite is the Hibiscus made with Cazadores Reposado, hibicus-infused water, simple syrup, lime, and orange liqueur. Or try the Perdona Mi Espanol with Lunazul blanco, Grand Marnier, strawberry, jalapeño, and lime. Or enjoy a margarita flight with Machete (serrano-infused Lunazul Blanco, watermelon, cucumber, simple syrup, lime and mint), Classico, and Hibiscus.

Pepper smash

Pepper Smash at The Shops at Legacy puts a bit of a twist on a classic margarita. Try their Pepper Smash Nº2 made with Socorro Blanco tequila, Ancho Reyes Verde, red bell pepper, lime, cilantro, and Firewater tincture for an interesting and delightful change. Or try the frozen Mango Bango with Piña Loca pineapple tequila, mango, tamarind, lime, and chamoy.

urban rio

Over in the Downtown Plano Arts District, Urban Rio’s signature margarita, “La Verdadera,” is made with Herradura Añejo, Cointreau, and fresh lime. Some of their popular margaritas are their Beer-Rita, sangria-swirled Red-Line Rita, Sweet Patty Lous, The B.A.R., and the Sheaside Margarita (made with Roca Patron Silver, Citronage Orange, fresh lime juice, and pineapple juice).
