Do you dink? Pickleball, a cross between tennis, badminton, and ping-pong, is currently the fastest-growing sport in America. According to court data provider Pickleheads, Plano is the 7th most popular city in Texas to play pickleball! So, where can you play? Check out our list below.

Where to Play
High Point Tennis Center
High Point has eight courts with regulation pickleball lines. Court reservations are highly recommended and may be booked up to two days in advance. They also offer single and family annual court passes.
Those interested may register for a group class, book a private lesson, join an on-site adult league, participate in open plays, or book a court. Their popular adult mixers are another great way to get out on the court.
Plano Sports Authority
PSA 1 at Carpenter Park now has six indoor pickleball courts in partnership with the City of Plano. PSA pickleball members, Plano Recreation members, as well as guests have various play time options at PSA. Find more information on PSA’s website.
Life time Fitness Plano
Life Time Fitness Plano has 6 pickleball courts and requires a Life Time membership for open play, court reservations, and mixers. Private, semi-private and group lessons are also available with their certified pros.
Plano Parks & Recreation
Twelve indoor courts are available during scheduled open play times at Plano recreation centers. There are three indoor pickleball courts each at Carpenter, Liberty, Oak Point and Tom Muehlenbeck Recreation Centers available during open play times. Players must have a recreation membership or pay a daily fee. Open play times vary; check the Open Play Schedule to plan your visit.
Plano Independant School District
Pickleball is available outdoors at Bowman, Carpenter, Otto, Robinson and Rice Middle Schools. Each school-based court has four outdoor pickleball courts (Bowman has eight pickleball courts) that are free and open to the public after school hours and when not in use by PISD. PISD leagues and classes hold priority for court use.
