Angelika Film Center

Art Centre Theatre
Since the dawn of time, music has been the language of love. This Valentines day join the Art Centre Theatre players as they serenade you with their favorite ballads, showcasing the brightest stars at Love Is In the Air: A Revue. Ascension Annex at The Shops at Willow Bend
Ascension Annex is the place to be for Galentine’s Day. On February 13 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. gal pals can enjoy wine, cheese boards, live music, awesome swag and more! Plus, guests can partake in some boozy shopping before or after the event thanks to Willow Bend/Ascension’s new “sip and shop” concept. That’s right, shoppers who purchase beer or wine from Ascension Annex are able to browse the mall drink in hand while they shop for the perfect gift for their bestie or significant other. Barnes & Noble Kitchen
Spend your Valentine’s Day with Barnes & Noble Kitchen as they host Master Sommelier Melissa Monosoff for a wine tasting and book signing. Food pairings will be available to accompany your wine. You will receive a signed copy of the book and special prices on bottles of wine with participation in the event.

Dark Hour
One night between February 14-16 treat your date to a nice last meal then join the horde during this apocalyptic experience at Dark Hour Haunted House! Right now, FEVER is spreading like wildfire. Although the CDC is trying their best to contain the problem, FEVER is a virus driven by supernatural forces and it’s nearly impossible to stop.  Once you’re infected, you’ll have to navigate a violent landscape of fellow biters to see if a cure can be found.

Fireside Pies
Grab your someone special and join in for a fun creative evening. During this workshop, you will create two 12×12 framed signs with two design options to choose from. RA Sushi
RA Sushi Bar is inviting its guests to heat things up with their soymate this Valentine’s Day. Enjoy a romantic and entertaining couples’ night out designed to teach participants about the power of aphrodisiac ingredients and help them make a little magic of their own. Roll of Attraction: An aphrodisiac sushi rolling class for couples takes place on Thursday, February 7 at 8 p.m. In addition to making and eating the Soy Crazy for You Roll together, couples will enjoy making other signature RA Sushi menu items including: the Rainbow Roll and Tuna and Salmon Nigiri– all while sampling three varieties of sake and Sofia Brut Sparkling Rosé.

10 Restaurants Offering Prix Fixe Valentine’s Dinners

Barnes & Noble Kitchen
From 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. enjoy a special prix fixe menu for $40 per person plus tax and gratuity including one glass of wine. Start with a kale or Caesar salad; entree options are a brick-cooked chicken, pacn roasted salmon, or braised short rib. Dessert offerings are a banana toffee cake or butterscotch pot de creme.

Cru Food & Wine Bar
Four-course prix fixe menu for $55 each.

Edith’s French Bistro
Take the guessing out and enjoy a prix fixe dinner menu with a lovely 4-course meal including soup, salad, choice of entree, and dessert, plus one complimentary glass of champagne per guest. There will also be live music! This outing is $65 per person plus tax and gratuity. Seating is limited, so please call to reserve. Special menu is for dinner and seating times are 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 8 p.m. only.

Holy Grail Pub
Treat your valentine to five courses of culinary adventure, each paired with a craft beer or cocktail designed to enhance and celebrate the flavors in the dish. Seating is at 7 p.m. and it’s $65 per person. Reservations are required. Your dinner will include: seared scallops with mango cucumber relish paired with Boulevard Tank 7, orecchiette pasta with pistachio pesto paired with Pegasus Canoneer, mixed greens salad with roasted peaches
paired with Balcones Baby Blue Old Fashioned, pork tenderloin with sour plum sauce and broccolini paired with Boulevard Bourbon Barrel Quad, and chocolate donuts with cherry mousse paired with Epic Quad Big Bad Baptist.

Hub Streat
Dinner will be served with a bottle of wine of your choice, red or white! Dinner will include two full course meals: an entrèe, one side, and a salad for each person, as well as, a dessert. Price ranges from $60-65.

Mexican Sugar
Mexican Sugar will host your Valentine’s night with a dinner for two option for $80 per couple including: two glasses of Champagne, choice of soup or salad- chicken tortilla or Latin wedge, steak and lobster for two, and a special dessert for two.

Taverna Rossa
Orin Swift has partnered with Taverna Rossa to create a special dinner serving a variety of their best wines and cocktails on this special evening. Tickets are $85+ per seat and seats are limited. Menu: 1st Course – Fragile Rose ceviche dumplings shrimp, avocado, jalapeño, aji amarillo puree. 2nd Course – Slander Pinot Noir peking duck sopes masa cakes, Napa cabbage slaw,  peking duck, roasted poblano avocado crema. 3rd Course – Abstract GSM lo mein pastor charred shishito, pickled ginger, fried hominy, pea tendrils. 4th Course – Eight Years in the Desert Red Blend Bulgogi strip steak NY strip, maitake mushrooms, Fresno peppers, red chili mofongo. 5th Course – Ayate Tequila cocktail flan tartlet wine poached Asian pear, cashew 5-spice touille.

Princi Italia
Chef Kevin continually refines and perfects his Valentine’s menu and this year will be his best yet. Bring your sweetheart for a dinner that is swoon-worthy. They’ll enjoy a 4-course menu with romantic epicurean favorites; indulgently incorporating jewels of the sea like scallops, lobster and crab. French Périgord truffles dust many of the dishes on the menu to add extra depth. Also included is a “Kiss Goodbye” of chocolate long-stemmed strawberries. $55 for 4 courses.

Sambuca 360
In addition to their regular menu, their chef has prepared a 3-course menu for $55 per person. The chef-featured menu includes shrimp & crab bisque, crisp salads, a filet & shrimp duet, and a special chef’s feature, all topped
off with your choice of decadent chocolate toffee torte or white chocolate cheesecake. Finish the evening with your dancing shoes on.
