Visit Plano has announced Hailee Lykins as the destination marketing organization’s new Event Services Coordinator, following the promotion of Christine Ford to Association Sales Manager. Visit Plano has also announced Olivia Larson as Marketing Specialist, a new addition to the marketing team.
Lykins is a seasoned venue professional in the destination marketing space, with experience working with event planners and clients. She served as a conference and events coordinator with the Omni PGA Frisco Resort. She has also worked in events for Lava Cantina and Topgolf, both in The Colony. Lykins received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Strategic Communication from The Ohio State University.
In her new role, Lykins manages all logistics, arrangements, and services for Visit Plano clients once they have been booked in Plano by the Visit Plano sales team. She also assists meeting and sports planners in coordinating events in each of Visit Plano’s targeted market segments including corporate, association, government, sports, and SMERF (social, military, education, religious, and fraternal).

Larson recently graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in marketing. While completing school, Larson also worked for The Agency in Edmond, Oklahoma and served as the Marketing Account Manager.
In this newly added role, Larson will be assisting the marketing team in promoting Plano as a destination for business and leisure travelers, as well as youth sports families.

During its 2023-2024 fiscal year, Visit Plano hosted 158 events, including corporate, association, sporting, SMERF, and government meetings and events, resulting in a total of 48,000 room nights.
