Dallas Burger Joint Hall of Famer, Chips Old Fashioned Hamburgers is not only famous for their burger selection, but also salads, fresh fish, spuds, Tex-Mex, and milkshakes. From the folks behind Taverna Rossa, Union Bear is a new locally owned and operated brewery and restaurant with a West Coast feel, fused with deep Texas roots, serving American classics and staff-curated spirits and cocktails. The Biscuit Bar, a new fast-casual, Southern home-style concept, offers scratch biscuits with a wide range of toppings, salads with biscuit croutons, biscuit desserts, and a bar menu.
New at The Boardwalk is Bavette Grill offering modern American fare and features an organic hydroponic garden on the patio, which grows 36 organic herbs, lettuce and vegetables that are used in the dishes. With “patio to plate” Bavette Grill offers an even fresher approach than “farm to table.” Entrée favorites include Bavette steak, short rib steak, Atlanta salmon and the butcher burger.
Pearl Cup Coffee offers Texas-roasted espresso drinks, coffee, snacks, and pastries, as well as wine and light bites in the afternoons through the evening. Edith’s French Bistro’s menu includes French baked goods as well as a breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu. Fork & Fire is described as a boutique neighborhood eatery offering an eclectic menu in a rustic environment. Enjoy items like a grilled pear, Bleu cheese, honey, and rosemary crostini, their famous wings, a pastrami sandwich, and yes, even their namesake, a foot-long Wagyu beef hot dog with Yuzu relish, mustard, and smokey pickles. Food is paired with local and regional craft beer, cocktails, and uniquely sourced wines tapped from the barrel.
A restaurant district in Texas wouldn’t be complete without a darn good BBQ joint. Good thing Good Union BBQ is situated on The Boardwalk! This isn’t your usual checkered tablecloth, smoke-filled hole in the wall. Good Union partners with local vendors and breweries to bring the best ingredients to your table pour amazing craft beer in your glass.
From slow-smoked prime brisket and pork spare ribs to stacker sandwiches and BBQ tacos, you can satisfy all of your BBQ cravings under one roof. Get BBQ by the 1/2 pound, BBQ sandwiches, smokehouse salads, or sides like classic mac & cheese, queso and chips, shoestring fries, or scratch made potato salad. Don’t forget house made banana pudding or a coconut dream cup!
Each restaurant has a patio, and there are beachy deck chairs to enjoy the view of the water feature. Grab your friends and play some lawn games too!
A new multi-purpose pavilion at The Boardwalk at Granite Park has recently opened for charity and community events, live music, and fitness classes. The pavilion is part of an overall effort to foster community and create a walkable and urban neighborhood experience in Granite Park.
