Reasons to Meet in Plano

meetings

Getting Here is Easy

We are just 20 minutes north of Dallas and two major airports, DFW International and Dallas Love Field. We are also on the DART light rail line; you can hop aboard at one of three Plano stations and travel throughout the area. Plano has been consistently named a safe and clean city in national publications, so your meeting participants will have an enjoyable experience. And our moderate climate makes it easy to get here and get around while you are here, no matter the season.

Plano has Amenities that Attendees Love

We are known for being a “walkable” city. For example, Legacy West is the largest mixed use destination in North Texas and the perfect place to play, shop, dine, and stay. The 255-acre development boasts 415,000 dynamic square feet of open-air retail and restaurant space. Diners can satisfy every craving, whether for steak or a good old-fashioned milk shake, Spanish tapas, a perfect plate of pasta, or a red velvet cupcake. Plus, Legacy Hall is one of the nation’s largest and most unique food halls dedicated to serving the best-of food trends prepared by premier chefs and local artisans. The three-story European-style food hall features 22 chef-driven food stalls, a brewery, and a live music and entertainment venue. Legacy West is anchored by the Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West, a full-service, 15 story, 304-room luxury property featuring a high energy lobby and bar, an on-site Asian fusion restaurant, a third floor amenity deck with swimming pool, a bar concierge lounge, and outdoor event space. The hotel’s theme, “west of Zen,” is a nod to the developer’s Asian roots and Texas growth. A mix of Texas and Asian cultures stand out in the hotel’s design from the finishes to the art and the furniture. For a more traditional meeting space, the newly renovated Plano Event Center has 86,400 square feet of meeting space plus FREE parking and WiFi. When your meeting day is over, your attendees will have more than 800 restaurants and 70 shopping areas to choose from — everything from great antique stores, to boutiques or high end shopping like Neiman-Marcus.
