Go Ape at Oak Point Park

The first Go Ape treetop adventure course (zip lines, obstacles and more) in Texas is just minutes from historic downtown Plano in Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve. This vast area of natural beauty sits on 800 acres, providing visitors with breath-taking opportunities for hiking, scenic walks, exploration and other outdoor activities.

Go Ape

More than just a canopy tour, the Go Ape Oak Point Park course is made up of numerous rope ladders and 39 exciting crossings; including the Pirates Crossing, Fisherman’s Trap, Bosun’s Chair, 2 Tarzan swings and 5 zip lines. Overall, there are 5 individual sections within the course. Each section takes you higher into the forest canopy, finishing with a zip line experience that is undeniably the highlight of this outdoor treetop adventure!

Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve

Spend a day at Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve to enjoy all the park has to offer. Before or after your Go Ape adventure, check out the park’s 3.5 miles of concrete trails and 5 miles of soft surface trails located along Rowlett Creek. The park’s 2,000 person amphitheater hosts outdoor concerts and festivals throughout the year, and the Oak Point Park Nature & Retreat Center is a great resource for interactive nature exhibits and meeting/rental space.
