Mother’s Day Restaurant Offers

Blue Mesa

Blue Mesa’s Mother’s Day brunch offers a huge variety of options with a carving station featuring smoked brisket, ginger chipotle glazed ham, grilled citrus glazed salmon, and poblano cheese stuffed chicken breast, breakfast favorites like Belgian waffles with berries & whip cream or crispy fried chicken, biscuits & gravy, SW Frittatas, and made-to-order omelets. A build-your-own street taco station; classic signatures like Adobe Pie, blue corn cheese enchiladas, sweet corn cake, and Chimayo corn, salads, and much more. Top it off with homemade sweets including coconut lime tres leches cake, churros with chocolate & cajeta sauces, banana pudding, a variety of mini flans (honey, cheesecake, and mango), chocolate fudge brownies, and more. The holiday buffet price is $35 and includes Mimosas, OJ, coffee, tea, and soft drinks; children ages 6-11 are $10 and children 5 and younger are free. Reservations are recommended.

Bulla Gastrobar

On Sunday, May 14, the Spanish-style restaurant Bulla Gastrobar is opening its doors early at 10 a.m. to celebrate mom the right way with a delicious Mother’s Day experience. The Legacy West restaurant will offer a 3-course brunch pre-fixe menu with sweet and savory shareables priced at $30 per person. Moms will also receive a $20 gift card for their next Bulla Gastrobar visit, plus a special box of chocolate clusters during dinner service while supplies last.

In addition to the pre-fixe brunch menu, Bulla’s new mimosa towers will also be available for $48 or large for $68, which includes a selection of fresh berries and oranges, accompanied by cranberry, passionfruit, and orange juices.

CRU

Impress Mom with CRU’s beautiful and delicious springtime brunch dishes featuring Napa Valley classics to please all. The Chefs at CRU have perfected the art of brunch and have created a beautiful 3-course brunch menu. Everyone gets to choose their own unique combination of appetizer, entree, and dessert for $48 per person. Signature Goat Cheese Beignets is a great way to start. Indulge in Roasted Beef Tenderloin & Eggs, Everyone’s Favorite Crab Cake Benedict or Featured Maine Lobster & Saffron Risotto with poached egg. No celebratory meal is complete without our delicious Chocolate Molten Cake and Butter Toasted Lemon Pound Cake with blueberry compote and lemon curd.

Plus, CRU is offering special prices on Domaine Chandon Brut Rose and Moet Chandon Brut Imperial. You’ll need it when Mom begins to regale everyone with your childhood stories.

DEL FRISCO’S GRILLE

Treat mom to an extraordinary dining experience with special dinner features from Del Frisco’s Grille at The Shops at Legacy. Enjoy the Prime Pair Duo with a 10 oz. prime New York strip topped with a petite cold water lobster tail. Princi Italia

Every year, Princi Italia has refined and perfected the Mother’s Day brunch menu which has become a huge favorite for families. This year, Princi’s Chefs have created their best brunch menu yet with Moms in mind. Moms will appreciate the bounty of choices for appetizer, entree and dessert. Options to start with include an Avocado & Jumbo Lump Crab Bruschetta or Seared Sea Scallops with risotto. Delicious main course options include a Grilled Salmon Oscar, Rosemary Roasted Beef Tenderloin, Crème Brûlée French Toast the ever popular Princi Crab Cake Benedict.

For a sweet finish, she can choose from Classic Tiramisu, refreshing Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta with blueberry compote, candied lemon peel and mint. Of course, don’t miss out on the Warm Apple & Blueberry Crostata with vanilla bean gelato which is similar to an apple pie.

Seasons 52 is offering the following items for pick-up only on 5/13 from 10am-4pm: whole side of cedar plank-roasted salmon, wood-grilled beef tenderloin, apricot glazed spiral ham, and sweet potato mash with maple-pecan streusel.

Judy Drotman Mother’s Day Garden Party – May 7

The annual event hosted by the ArtCentre of Plano to honor Mother’s Day has been renamed the Judy Drotman Mother’s Day Garden Party.

Judy Drotman was a highly recognized and beloved community leader who volunteered for many years for the ArtCentre of Plano and was instrumental in creating this annual event.

The Garden Party will include treats created especially for the ArtCentre by Central Market, entertainment provided by talented local performing arts groups, a stunning exhibition by Artists Sharon McCall and Victoria Pelobet, and a live (mist be present to win) raffle.

The Drotman Family is the Presenting Sponsor of the event.
