Plano, Texas is hoppin’ with Easter events and restaurants specials! From photos with the Easter bunny (and pet photos too) to an Easter Egg Hound hunt, enjoy all there is to offer during this egg-celent holiday!

Easter Events

Easter Pet Photos – March 27 & April 3

Pet Photos with Wendell the Bunny! Pet owners are invited to bring their furry four-legged friends to a special pet photo session with Wendell the Easter Bunny at The Shops at Willow Bend lower-level, Macy’s Court.

Each pet will receive a goodie bag with treats, a toy, and a bandana with purchase of a photo package. While supplies last. Limited supply. First come, first served. Reservations are not required but encouraged to help reduce overall wait time.

Easter Bunny Photos – March 17-April 8

Hop on over to The Shops at Willow Bend to visit Wendell the Easter Bunny for family photos through April 8th. Reservations are NOT required. Walk-ups are always welcome!

Easter Egg Hound Hunt – April 1

Join us for this egg-cellent spring event. Dog owners will have great fun as dogs enjoy sniffing out doggie-treat filled Easter eggs at Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve. Will your dog find one of the Golden Eggs and win a special prize?

Dogs must be on non-retractable leashes (six-foot max) and under their owner’s control at all times. Dogs must have current tags. You may sign up two dogs per person. Registration fee is per dog. Owners must be 16 years old or older. No more than two dogs per person will be allowed.

Cost is just $5 per dog. Space is limited; register today!

Victorian Eggstravaganza & Spring Festival – April 1

The Heritage Farmstead Museum is delighted to bring back the Victorian Eggstravaganza and Spring Festival. This spring holiday tradition offers a glimpse into farm life on the Blackland Prairie as well as an opportunity to celebrate spring with our traditional family-friendly activities.

Join us as we showcase volunteers demonstrating the art of sheep shearing, as well as hands-on skirting, washing, spinning and weaving techniques. Take a tour through the Farrell Wilson Home which features the latest exhibit “A Bevy of Postcards” and the Young House which features “The Fabric of our Lives.” Enjoy hands-on demonstrations, make a craft, take a mule drawn wagon ride throughout our 4-acre site.

Children 10 and under can participate in egg hunts. Jessie Jean the phonograph DJ’s dulcet tones of a bygone era will be featured in the Historic Pole Barn and there will be food trucks on site if you plan to make a day of it.

Jazzy Easter Brunch at Legacy Hall – April 9

Bobbly Falk’s amazing jazz group will be swingin’ and jivin’ from 1:30pm – 3:30pm on our big Lexus Box Garden stage. Grab an Instagrammable Peep Mimosa from the bar and a delicious brunch from any of the nearly 20 eateries inside! Did you hear? The REAL Easter Bunny will be at this event taking complimentary photos with all the kiddos. For peep’s sake, don’t wait to reserve a table! Reserve a Balcony VIP Lounge for all of the above PLUS premium soft seating on our 2nd Floor Balcony with the best view of the stage.

St. Andrew Methodist Church Egg hunt – April 9

St. Andrew Methodist Church will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt at 10:15 a.m., in between Easter services, on Sunday, April 9 (weather permitting). Children are invited to hunt for more than 15,000 treat-filled eggs and visit with the Easter Bunny. The event is free, and no registration is required. A smaller Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, April 8, at 6:30 p.m. in the courtyard following the 5:30 p.m. worship service.

Bulla Gastrobar

On Sunday, April 9, Bulla Gastrobar will serve a delicious Easter brunch that family and friends will love! The Spanish-style restaurant located in Legacy West will open its doors early at 10 a.m. and feature its chef-inspired three-course prix fixe menu, along with sparkling mimosas starting at $3.

Cathedral Italian Bistro

Join Cathedral Italian Bistro for a festive brunch full of fun on Saturday, April 8 from 11am-2pm. Perfect for families of any size. Featuring their signature lunch menu with a few limited time kid-friendly brunch items. Reservations are suggested as they have limited seating.

CRÚ has got you covered for Easter brunch. Their annual Napa-style wine country Easter Brunch has more options available for your enjoyment. Princi Italia has put together a delicious menu to celebrate Easter. Enjoy an extensive Easter Brunch prix fixe menu ($40) with an Italian twist that is sure to excite everyone in your family. With so many items to choose from, your family members will find an appetizer, entrée, and dessert that will appeal to their own personal tastes.

Guests can begin with a savory Braised Lamb Ravioli, popular Lump Crab & Avocado Bruschetta, or House Favorite appetizers such as Fried Calamari & Shrimp and Caesar Salad.
