Amphitheater at Oak Point Park
The Dallas Morning News said that the Amphitheater at Oak Point Park “is one of the best outdoor venues in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. It’s as new and fresh as the Texas limestone that surrounds it.”
The amphitheater easily accommodates 1,500. Many people bring their own blankets and lounge in the cool grass with a picnic basket filled with beer or wine or soft drinks and maybe a little cheese or fresh fruit.
A permanent sound and light system and entertainment roof structure along with comfortable and convenient restroom facilities and plenty of free parking make this the perfect setting for an evening under the endless Texas sky. It’s all a part of Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve, an 800-acre park located along Rowlett Creek in eastern Plano.
The amphitheater at Oak Point Park is used for concerts, meetings, presentations and special events and seats up to 1,000 people.
