Springtime on the Farm 2024

March 15, 2023 @ 10:00 am 12:00 pm

The Spring Break Family at The Heritage Farmstead Museum

Join us for a fun-filled Spring day on the farm!

Stations are open during a two-hour, come-and-go style program and close at noon.  After the program is over, guests are welcome to enjoy time on their own until the farm closes at 2pm.  You are welcome to bring a picnic lunch or snack.

Enjoy activities throughout the farm: wagon rides, meet the farm animals, plow and plant the field, milk Buttermilk the mechanical cow, feed the chickens, and play games from the past. Visit the Blacksmith and learn about this historic craft. Little Blue Truck’s Springtime story times will be at 10:15am, 10:45am, 11:15am, 11:45am.

Wilson House will not be open for this event.

Events are held, rain or shine. Activities take place outside on our 4-acre farmstead.  Be prepared for possible muddy conditions if it has recently rained. Check the weather the day of the event to make sure you and your children are dressed comfortably for the outdoors.

If a program is cancelled due to severe weather, the decision will be made by 8am on the day of the program. An email will be sent to the address connected with your tickets. A note will be added to the event page as well. Refunds will be processed in these cases.
