Little Farmer Fridays: Swing into Spring

April 5 @ 10:00 am 12:00 pm

Heritage Farmstead Museum

Join us as we sprout some fun here on the farm! Come enjoy story time with a special guest, Coconut the Opossum, from the North Texas Wildlife Center at 10:30am. We’ll have special spring activities and even some spring cleaning. Learn how to wash a piece of laundry the old-fashioned way with a washboard and clothesline. Meet our farm animals, enjoy a wagon ride, and last bud not least, plant your own seed to take home and watch grow. Pack a lunch or snack and enjoy a picnic on the farm!

Little Farmer Fridays is an interactive program designed for preschoolers and their grown-ups.  Most appropriate for children ages 2 to 5 years old, our programs offer families the opportunity to hear a story, make a craft, meet our livestock, enjoy a wagon ride, and have fun on our 4-acre farm.

Gates open at 10am for ticket holders.

Stations are open during a two-hour, come-and-go style program and close at noon.  After the program is over, guests are welcome to enjoy time on their own until the farm closes at 2pm.  You or welcome to bring a picnic lunch or snack.
