Celebrate the enchanting and colorful Hindu festival that embodies renewal, rebirth, and joy associated with the arrival of Spring. Sapna, an Ayurvedic, cultural, and food expert, will show you how to make this seasonal, balanced, and vibrant meatless menu that highlights the diverse flavors of Indian food. You’ll sit back, relax, and enjoy this rich sensory experience as you sample each dish.

For ages 18 & up. Alcohol will not be served in this class.

ABOUT SAPNA PUNJABI

Sapna Punjabi, MS, RDN, LD is a Culinary Wellness Specialist, Registered Dietitian, Ayurvedic Practitioner, and the creative force of beSPICED (www.bespiced.com [bespiced.com]) based in Dallas, Texas. She connects her Indian roots with her western training to empower people with skills for easy and effortless cooking and to find wellness through everyday food and spices. Sapna’s inspiring work and story has been featured in local, national and international media including NBC Texas, Food52, Clean Eating, Dallas Morning News, and Edible Dallas. She has been recognized as Ayurveda Ambassador of Dallas by D Magazine.

  • Very Berry Shikanji (Spiced, Sparkling, Seasonal Berry Limeade)
  • Chana Chaat (Chickpea Salad tossed with Seasonal Veggies & Spices)
  • Dabeli (Popular Indian Street Food-style, Spiced Mashed Potato Sliders)
  • Jalebi served with Malai Kulfi (Deep Fried Spirals of Dough soaked in Warm Sugar Syrup served with Indian Ice Cream)

Safety & Precautions:

  • At check-in, you will be asked to sign a waiver before entering the Cooking School.
  • For that reason, we ask that all attendees arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the confirmed start time of the class.
