Beginning as a humble farming town and growing into a bustling city of 300,000, Plano’s stake in Texas history is hard to ignore. As a community made up of passionate and committed citizens, it’s no surprise that Plano is one of the most popular and fast-growing suburbs in the greater Dallas area.
From its intentional city-planning, to the many parks and big-hearted people, Plano is a place designed with community in mind. As you’ll see in Plano, Texas: A City Built for Community, the fabric of Plano is made up by a diverse and dynamic group of changemakers and doers, but those photographed are just a few of the many Plano residents committed to making their community a better place for all.
Please join us for an open house-style gathering on Friday, December 1st to commemorate the launch of a new public art exhibit, celebrating Plano’s rich history and the creatives, business owners, community members and leaders who keep the city thriving. Project participants, SK Signet employees, and local residents will come together for an evening of snacks, refreshments and more.
Additionally, this exhibit will serve as a drop off site for the local branch of Toys for Tots, so that spectators can give back just in time for the holidays while learning more about their community and the people in it. Winter themed beverages and treats will also be provided.
This event is located at the SE Corner of E 15th St. and K Ave.
