7 Reasons to Visit The Boardwalk at Granite Park in Plano

The Boardwalk at night

Updated: 11/13/23

Nestled in the middle of the Granite Park corporate business center sits a 30,000 square foot restaurant park called The Boardwalk. With restaurants of all types, a casual family-friendly atmosphere, entertainment, and an amazing waterfront view, The Boardwalk is the perfect place for a patio brunch date with friends, a fun family dinner, or a late night date spot.

At Granite Park, it all comes together at the Boardwalk.

1. Live Music & Entertainment

The Boardwalk at Granite Park recently completed a multi-purpose pavilion providing space for charity and community events, live music and fitness classes. The pavilion is part of an overall effort to foster community and create a walkable and urban neighborhood experience in Granite Park. You can even sip and stroll on The Boardwalk while enjoying a beverage from one of the property’s restaurants.

2. Biscuits Goodness

Get ready for the YUM factor! The Biscuit Bar is a fast casual restaurant serving up southern goodness on a biscuit. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night, they offer biscuits, tots, and taps. The menu features an assortment of savory and sweet biscuit sandwiches made daily in-house and from scratch. Accompany your glorified biscuit with a side of crispy tots styled to your personal taste and top it all off with a craft cocktail, locally sourced brew, cold brew coffee, or kombucha.

3. mouth-watering steak

New at The Boardwalk is Bavette Grill offering modern American fare and features an organic hydroponic garden on the patio, which grows 36 organic herbs, lettuce and vegetables that are used in the dishes. With “patio to plate” Bavette Grill offers an even fresher approach than “farm to table.” Entrée favorites include Bavette steak, short rib steak, Atlanta salmon and the butcher burger.

4. Brews & Cocktails

Blue Mesa

This Mexican/Southwestern grill is known for Sunday brunch, happy hour, and is famous for their sweet potato chips. Don’t miss their popular blue margaritas!

Fork & Fire

Fork & Fire is described as a boutique neighborhood eatery offering an eclectic menu in a rustic environment. Enjoy items like a fig, olive, and goat cheese crostini, or their famous wings, a pastrami sandwich, and a 1/4 pound akaushi beef hot dog with mustard and smoky pickles. Food is paired with local and regional craft beer, cocktails, and uniquely sourced wines tapped from the barrel. Must try the Fiery Pineapple Margarita! *Fork & Fire has now closed, but we can’t wait to announce the new addition to The Boardwalk!

suburban yacht club

Embrace the tide and sail away with tropical cocktails and chef-drive boardwalk fare at Suburban Yacht Club. From coffee brews and beer brews and Instagram-worthy cocktails, The Boardwalk has you covered from morning to night. This fun restaurant is inspired by laidback SoCal vibes and provides a yacht club culinary experience that ranges from streetside tacos, boardwalk burgers and baskets, as well as fresh ceviche and baja-style tacos.

The tropical tiki drink menu includes playfully named cocktails such as the Seafoam Surfer, Tiki Tai, Pick Your Poison and Basic Beach. Scorpion Bowls are meant to be shared with friends and sangrias on tap highlight the spirited menu. Four “endless summer” frozen libations include a Cuba Libre, Frojito, Blue Oahu and a Mangonada Margarita.

Union Bear

Union Bear is a brewery and restaurant concept inspired by a West Coast casual beer approach fused with local roots in North TX. The space is driven by a signature line of craft beers and complemented by an extensive bar offering and menu of approachable, chef-driven plates. Access to the brewers working inside the space and a highly trained staff round out the personalized experience aimed at bringing elevated food & drink pairings.

5. Relaxing Atmosphere

Every restaurant has a fun patio and there are plenty of waterside Adirondack chairs to enjoy the view of the water and new pavilion. Grab your friends and play some lawn games too! There’s ping pong and corn hole, and a giant sandbox and small climbing hill for the kids.

Don’t forget the bright & fun artwork! Catch a selfie in front of the Walking on Sunshine mural.
