We continue sharing the stories behind some of our favorite food in our next round of great food temptation videos from some of our favorite places in Plano.
So far, we’ve had a little bit of Brazilian at Bavette Grill located at The Boardwalk at Granite Park and some great Chile Colorado at Mesero in Legacy West; now it’s time for a great burger! Throughout the series, we’ll hear from these tastemakers in our community and discover where their passion comes from. Here on the blog, we’re going to take you behind the scenes every month.
Let’s go to Prim and Proper!
Prim & Proper is unique because it is located inside the retail store Neighborhood Goods at Legacy West. At Neighborhood Goods you’ll find an ever-changing selection of brands and products most of which you won’t find in stores, let alone on another website. From major international names to direct-to-consumer startups and bootstrapped local concepts, Neighborhood Goods features only the most creative and elevating brands they can find. Plus, each store features a different selection and the selection changes all the time.
Fun fact: all their stores have a restaurant inside. And at Plano’s Prim & Proper you’ll find Tim Dynan, the Food and Beverage Manager.
There’s something about a great burger that just has that stopping power – that’s the case with the Goods Burger. It’s the best selling item at Prim and Proper.
The Goods Burger has a Wagyu beef patty, cooked smash-burger style. Smashing a burger on a griddle locks in the fats and juices; that’s why it’s such a beloved cooking method by burger aficionados.
The Goods Burger is topped with white American cheese, shredded romaine lettuce, a garden tomato slice, pickles, and their secret sauce all sandwiched between a tasty potato bun. Enjoy a single or double patty or even top with an over-easy egg. Tim likes pairing his burger with a glass of Champagne, because why not?!
Prim & Proper has a great menu selection, so be sure to check out their great coffee or another fan-favorite, their Millennial Toast (avocado smash, black pepper aioli, cucumber, shaved radish, cracked Aleppo pepper, crushed pistachios, ricotta salata, local olive oil, everything spice, and parsley. Served on ancient grain toast.)
They currently offer dine-in, curbside, and takeout.
