Plano Families First – Family-Friendly FALL FAIR!

Join Mayor Harry LaRosiliere at THE FAMILY-FRIENDLY FALL FAIR!

Opening ceremonies begin at 8:30 a.m. with Mayor LaRosiliere, the Plano City Council and the performing group, The Que Pastas!  The first 100 families to arrive early will receive free school supply packs, a Mavericks sports bag and a chance to win great door prizes!

Free Health & Vision screenings along with flu shots (while supplies last), free prescription eyeglasses for qualifying children.  Dental screenings for the entire family & fluoride varnishes for young children.  A Career Corner offering free resume advice by area professionals, LinkedIn listings and personal “head-shot” photos.  Featuring a Job Fair with companies recruiting for full, part-time and seasonal positions.  Community Resource Booths, Fitness Demos, Soccer Skills, Pumpkin Patch Photo Booth, Puppet Shows, Book Giveaways and Crafts & Entertainment.

Other highlights include free Plano rec center memberships, soccer skills camps, dance and martial arts, puppet shows, free books for children, a children’s career corner complete with costumes and props, stomp rockets, a pumpkin patch photo booth, kids crafts, face painting, entertainment and other freebies.
