Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale presented by Genesis Children’s Theatre

King Leontes rips his family apart with his jealousy but grief opens his heart. Will he find the child he abandoned before it is too late? Set across a 16-year span, this is considered one of Shakespeare’s “Romances.” It begins as a tragedy and ends as a comedy, and has the very famous Shakespearean stage direction, “exit, pursued by a bear!” This tragicomedy of obsession and redemption focuses on the miracle of second chances.
