Salt the Rim 2023

Taste and dance your way through Plano’s third annual margarita tasting celebration on Saturday, May 6 from 6-10:30 pm at McCall Plaza!
Four craft margarita recipes concocted by Downtown Plano’s best bartenders will go head-to-head:
Coconut Mango from Better Than Sex – A Dessert Restaurant, Strawberry Jalapeño from The Fillmore Pub, Blood Orange & Lime from Lockhart Smokehouse Plano, and the Downtown Plano Classic Margarita.
Taste them all and cast your vote to help us determine this year’s winner! There are two different tasting times: 6 pm and 8 pm. Tickets are $35. Must be 21 or older.
Urban Rio will be onsite selling street steak taco plates. Nonalcoholic beverages will be available for purchase as well. This event is free and open to all who wish to attend without participating in the tasting. Come enjoy live music and dance performances on the stage from Mariachi Fuzion (6 pm), Mexico 2000 Ballet Folklorico (7:30 pm), and Lara Latin (9 pm).
