Rest in Plano – RIP Fest
October 22 @ 5:00 pm – 10:30 pm
When the sun goes down on October 22, Historic Downtown Plano transforms into a spooky scene with frightful fun for all ages. Rest in Plano (RIP) Fest, a free Halloween-themed festival, debuts Saturday, October 22 from 5 to 10:30 p.m.
Explore eerie experiences along 15th Street including spectacularly spooky photo ops, as well as lipstick-print readings, tarot card readings, creepy characters and pumpkin-sculpting demos. Ooh and aah over thrilling performances by aerialists, pyro dancers and magicians. Enjoy live entertainment from KISS tribute band Rock and Roll Over, dance party band Lara Latin, Halloween-themed musicals and more. Plano resident Tony Giles from the Pine Lakes Haunt will display his Evil Seeds Creations.
Your favorite fall-festival foods and adult beverages will be available for purchase. In addition to vendors selling Halloween-themed goods, the downtown shops and restaurants will stay open late for guests.
Please note: RIP Fest offers frightful fun that guests of all ages can enjoy. We will have spooky sights all along 15th Street, but no gore or terrifying characters.
Bring your kiddies for creepy fun night in Plano. Admission is free. Check out the full schedule of event and activities at Plano.gov/RIPFest.
