Preschool Wednesday at Heritage Farmstead Museum – “T” is for Tractor
March 17, 2021 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Join us as we learn about the letter “T,” as well as the tractors that we have on the farm! Children have the opportunity to take a photo a-top our own John Deere tractor, make a fun craft, feed our chickens and go on a wagon ride.
Fun on the Farm is a literacy-based program designed to meet the needs of preschoolers and their grown-ups, as well as to provide a safe, outdoor space for experiential learning. Most appropriate for children ages 18 months to 5 years old, our programs offer families the opportunity to participate in story-time, experience farm life and have fun outdoors on our 4.5 acre historic site.
Gates open at 10am, at which time we invite students and their families to be active participants in the educational activities stationed throughout the farm. Stations shut down promptly at noon. We encourage participants to stay and enjoy our grounds with time for a picnic lunch. Gates close at 2pm. Admission is $10 per child and $5 per adult. Babies who aren’t old enough to participate but come along with a sibling are free.
