MLK Day: Power Leadership Breakfast

January 13, 2018 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Free

Join community leaders and elected officials at this annual free breakfast and special tribute celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King, hosted by the Collin College Board of Trustees and Dr. Neil Matkin.  This year’s theme is “Shades of Unity.”  The breakfast will include presentations and student performances sharing Dr. King’s message with a special address by Rev. Dr. Zan Holmes.

Dr. King was passionate about education, justice and social equality. We will honor his legacy by focusing on these important issues through our speakers and have table discussions on how we can now act on the dream.

A Business and Information Expo will take place immediately following the Power Leadership Breakfast in the atrium at Collin College Spring Creek Campus. Visit with a variety of local vendors and various businesses from the health and education industry. This is a great opportunity to learn about local businesses. Local businesses and nonprofit organization can sign up to be a vendor here

The breakfast takes place in the Living Legend Conference Center on the Collin College Spring Creek Campus.  Get more information on the Collin County MLK events here.
