Queen is one of the greatest bands of all time. This famed English group, formed in 1970, is responsible for countless classics. To this day they are considered some of the reigning kings of rock. Because of their incredible legacy, Queen has inspired numerous tribute bands over the decades, and many of these acts are so authentic and talented that you just might think you are seeing the real Queen back in action!
IT’s difficult these days not to hear something from the Queen catalog on radio, at a ballpark, on TV, at the grocery store, or at any number of other locations on a daily basis. Queen and its lead singer Freddie Mercury are the inspiration for the recent award-winning film Bohemian Rhapsody.
Winborne’s classic show The Music of Queen, which premiered in 2009, has garnered fan and critical acclaim. Their performance offers many vocals and Queen’s famous harmonic sounds with a band that holds true to Queen. It’s the perfect group to be accompanied by an orchestra.
This performance includes music from the albums Classic Queen, A Night at the Opera, Sheer Heart Attack, Jazz, News of the Work, A Kind of Magic, The Works, and more. Some of the many favorite Queen hits to be performed include “We Are the Champions,” “I Want to Break Free,” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “We Will Rock You,” “Don’t Stop Me Now,” “Another One Bites the Dust,” “Under Pressure,” “The Show Must Go On,” “Somebody to Love,” “Love of My Life,” “Fat Bottomed Girls,” and “Crazy Little Thing Called Love.”
