Plano Lions Independence Day Parade – Spirit of America

Flags, floats, marching bands, drill teams, cheer squads and so much more!   Come celebrate Independence Day at this annual holiday parade.

The parade starts in the parking lot of the Plano ISD administration building. It will travel west on 15th Street then north on Independence, then east on Parkhaven ending in the parking lot of Plano Senior High School. Parade Lineup begins at 6:30 am, the parade runs 9:00 to 11:00 am.

You’ll need sunscreen, sunglasses and water. Arrive early to get a good spot. (street closes at 8 a.m.)

We expect over 50 to 60 businesses, volunteer organizations and specialty groups to participate in the parade by walking or by decorating cars, trucks and floats in the theme of the parade.  We hope to have a parade audience of COP citizenry to be around 15000 folks lining the parade route.
