Interfaith National Day of Prayer

Join us in Senator Florence Shapiro Council Chambers at the Plano Municipal Center for an Interfaith Day of Prayer.

Each year multiple faiths gather here in the Municipal Center in support of cultural and religious bonds. The first Thursday in May has been the designated Day of Prayer for the nation since 1952. The theme this year is “Turn to God in prayer and meditation.”
The Multicultural Outreach Roundtable (MCOR) hosts this event which includes brief prayers by clergy representing several faiths, a musical performance and more.
Organized by Plano Multicultural Outreach Roundtable (MCOR). MCOR seeks to encourage understanding and participation in the government process and fulfil the needs and desires of its diverse citizens.
