The Heritage Farmstead Museum’s annual fundraiser is a unique and fun-filled event that takes place on the historic grounds of the museum. It’s a spectacular night under the stars that features a dinner concert with the sounds of King George, a George Strait cover band, providing live entertainment throughout the night.
The fundraiser also includes several exciting activities, including a live and silent auction, chicken poop bingo, pick a pig, and Poncho’s wine pull. Guests can participate in these activities and potentially win prizes or experiences.
Overall, the Heritage Farmstead Museum’s annual fundraiser is a lively and engaging event that brings together the community to support the museum’s mission and celebrate its unique history. This year our dream is even bigger, we are asking our friends to help us finish the Ammie Wilson Barn. The building will be a historic replica of the original barn that was given to Dallas Heritage Village in the early 1970s. We have raised 75% of the funding and hope to ‘raise the roof’ so to speak during this year’s annual Friends of the Farmstead.
