First Saturdays in Downtown Plano are unique. Welcome to our new monthly series where we bring you a special event, tailored each month to the season.
It’s the time for gratitude and gatherings, and you CAN help us provide our Downtown Plano neighbors with a holiday meal. On Saturday, November 4, bring 10 canned goods to participating stores to donate to Minnie’s Food Pantry, and you’ll receive a limited-edition Downtown Plano sticker.
And a little friendly competition never hurt anyone! Help your favorite store win bragging rights by dropping your canned goods or pantry items in their collection bins to help one store collect the most.
The following stores are collecting donations on Nov. 4:
– JeTT Pets (11am-8pm)
– La Foofaraw (10am-6pm)
– Lyla’s: Clothing, Decor & More (11am-7pm)
– The Feathered Nest (10am-7pm)
– Coco Beach (11am-2am)
– Bel Air Apartments (10am-5pm)
Minnie’s Food Pantry has requested the following items be donated:
– Boxed dried potatoes
– Jiffy boxed cornbread mix
– Canned fruit
– Canned cranberry sauce
– Canned cream of mushroom soup
– Boxed stuffing mix
– Boxed cake mix
