Esperanza 5K Run, 1-Mile Color Run and Eggsperanza Fun Festival

Mark your calendar and save the date for the Esperanza 5K run, the one-mile Eggsperanza Color Run and the Esperanza Fun Festival.  The Eggsperanza Family Fun Festival kicks off at 9:00 am. This free festival features all your favorites: complimentary breakfast tacos and coffee, bounce houses (open at 8:00 am), face painting, and everyone’s favorite clown, Daisy, and her funny balloon animals. Once again, we welcome the Easter Bunny as our very special guest. He will be available for photos if you bring your camera. Activities this year include Bubble Balls, a petting zoo and old-fashioned Easter Egg Hunt!  Festival Schedule is as follows:

7:00 am – 7:45 am: On site 5K Registration and Packet Pickup
7:00 am – 8:00 am: On site Eggsperanza Color Fun Run Registration and Packet Pickup
8:00  am: 5K Begins and bounce house opens
9:00 am: Eggsperanza Color Fun Run Begins and Eggsperanza Festival Opens 
9:05 am: 5K Award Ceremony
10:30 – 10:45:  Easter Egg Hunt (staggered by age group)
11:00 am: Eggsperanza Festival Closes 

The Eggsperanza Color Fun Run/Walk is a 1-mile untimed, kid-friendly scamper through the colors of Spring! Registered Eggsperanza Color Run participants will receive souvenir sunglasses and t-shirt to wear along the easy 1-mile course where they will be showered with a rainbow of colors. Each finisher will also receive a collectible ceramic medal handpainted by Custer Road UMC Mission Possible Kids. Come early for the free Eggsperanza Family Festival featuring complimentary breakfast tacos, bounce houses, face painting, Daisy the Clown, balloon animals, petting zoo and a special visit with the Easter Bunny!  Register here.  See the race maps here.

Festivities are located at the southeast corner of Legacy and Custer Roads at 6910 Custer Road in Plano.
