Bill Brooks Unplugged

Bill Brooks was born in Denton Texas and picked up the guitar at age 14 but never really had any interest in playing it until the age of 21. Bill had three sisters who played drums, keyboards and bass and it was this band that he first started his career. They called themselves the “Brooks” and performed for many years until Bill felt the need to change directions and left to join up with 2 local musicians who were singers/songwriters who played bass and guitar. Bill left the Brooks and with Robin & Chris Creasman formed the band “Backstreet”. Backstreet was very successful in Dallas with 2 hit singles and on the show Star Search.
