Adapted Sweetheart Dance

The Adapted Sweetheart Dance invites teens and adults with special needs out for a night of music, dancing and fun! This fun night of dancing and other activities is for everyone 15 years and older. This program aims to increase socialization, self-esteem and physical exercise.
Presented by Plano Parks & Recreation and sponsored by the Credit Union of Texas, our Adapted Sweetheart Dance invites teens and adults with special needs out for a night of music, dancing and fun!
With our resident DJ spinning your favorite tunes in the spacious ballroom of the Sam Johnson Recreation Center, this is a night you don’t want to miss!

Adapted Recreation programs are designed to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities. Certified special education teachers and certified paraprofessionals staff these Parks & Recreation programs.
