2018 Apparition Expedition
October 12, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 10:30 pm
An event every day that begins at 6:30 pm, repeating until October 13, 2018
Mysterious footsteps. A woman’s scream. Shades open, doors unlock, chairs unfold – but there’s no explanation. Many denizens of downtown Plano report strange occurrences in the area’s historic buildings. Some claim they’re haunted.
Now, just in time for Halloween, Plano residents will have a chance to experience the haunted history of downtown Plano, with the inaugural Apparition Expedition: A Stroll Through Plano’s Paranormal Past.
The 2018 Apparition Expedition will be on the evenings of Friday, October 12 and Saturday, October 13. Final event times and group times will be announced closer to the event date.
This guided, 1.5-mile hike through historic downtown Plano will introduce attendees to the mysterious, the ghostly, and the darker moments of Plano’s history. Hikers will get an exclusive peek at creepy corners, back hallways, and other out-of-the-way spots.
There will be an after party at McCall Plaza both nights with live music, card readers, drinks, food and fun for all. There will also be numerous vendors throughout the area, providing access to various spooky and mysterious oddities.
The Expedition will begin at the Interurban Railway Museum.
Participants should wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather; the tour involves about 1.5 miles of walking and much of it is outdoors. There are stairs involved.
Pre-purchase is required and spots are limited; ticket sales begin September 13th.
