Celebrate Oktoberfest at Plano’s Steinfest

Steinfest is an Oktoberfest-style event that celebrates outstanding beer, great food, and the right kind of polka music to get you and your friends dancing in the street!

SteinfestJoin us Saturday, October 29 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the Downtown Plano Arts District for German-inspired cuisine, the finest beer, live music, an artist village of craftsman and makers, a wiener dog fashion show, keg bowling, a kid’s zone, and a VIP beer garden.

Steinfest is free to attend and to enjoy the craft vendors and live entertainment. If you would like to partake in the any of the German-inspired cuisine or beverages available, you will need to purchase coupons at ticket booths located at the festival entrances. Attendees can purchase a VIP package for $40 which includes twenty food and beverage coupons, a commemorative stein, a Steinfest t-shirt, and access to the VIP beer garden with a private bar.

Some of this year’s entertainment acts include the Flying Balalaika Brothers and the Chardon Polka Band. Entertainment will be in McCall Plaza, while craft vendors will be set up on 15th Street.

Entertainment Schedule:

  • 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.: Swiss Alphorn Quartaet
  • 11 a.m.: Weiner Dog Fashion Show
  • 12 p.m. & 1 p.m.: STV Almrausch
  • 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.: Nick Ballarini
  • 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.: Alpine Dancers Edelweiss
  • 4:30 p.m.: Stein Racing Contest
  • 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.: The Flying Balalaika Brothers
  • 7 p.m.: Masskrugstemmen Competition
  • 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.: The Chardon Polka Band
