My whole life, I’ve been playing, coaching, teaching, and organizing sports. In some form or fashion, sports has always been a part of my life. Visit Plano allows me to parlay the city’s park assets into a reliable source of economic impact and to build a valuable tournament inventory that will contribute to community vitality into the foreseeable future.

I enjoy giving back to the meeting industry through assisting Certified Meeting Professional’s on their certification journey and staying active in professional associations including previous board work with Meeting Professionals International Texas Hill Country Chapter, Dallas Fort Worth Association Executives, and current work on the Professional Convention Management Association Gulf State Chapter board of directors.

Plano is an ideal destination for association groups, with both modern luxury and budget-friendly options available. Groups have easy airport access and will enjoy several walkable dining, shopping, and entertainment districts. With over 15 years of hospitality industry experience, I enjoy working closely with each client to help create and plan a productive and memorable experience for all attendees.

A bit about me, I have three Siberian Huskies that keep me busy most of my free time. Huskies are very high energy, so we go on long walks daily; I enjoy every minute I get to spend with my pups. I am also an avid bicyclist and love participating in long endurance bike rides. I recently completed the Hotter ‘N Hell Hundred for the second year in a row.

Weekends in Plano are perfect for SMERF groups. With an abundance of festivals, endless live music, and a mouth-watering foodie scene, we are able to offer a unique destination for meetings. From the start, Visit Plano works with meeting planners to find venues and activities that best suit their needs.

I love working with planners to come up with creative event solutions. One of my passions is sustainability and I love every opportunity to assist in the creation of sustainable events. A few fun facts about me: I am always reading a book, Zumba is my therapy, and in my own day-to-day life I try to live as low waste as possible.

As the Event Services Coordinator I am responsible for fulfilling the needs of a variety of events in Plano. I ensure that anything from registration assistance to transportation coordination is provided when needed to incoming and local events. I am also responsible for keeping up to date with current events and attractions in Plano to ensure groups have the most current information on the area when visiting.

In my time outside of work, I love spending time with my family and continuing my education in dance. I also just recently received a Master of Public Affairs degree.
