This art center is bringing a world of refinement to the ever-growing city of Plano. Exhibits have included batiks by Jun Ye of China and photographs of Guanajuato, Mexico by June Van Cleef. Eclectic productions range from a show of the Golden Rod Puppets by the Hobey Ford Troupe to classical guitar performed by Robert Bluestone. Every third Friday of each month at 7p is poetry night. This four-acre museum preserves a way of life during the height of farm prosperity in the early 1900's. The beautiful Victorian home and 12 outbuildings was the hub of a 360-acre farm operated by a colorful local resident, Ammie Wilson. The museum is open to the public and guided tours are available.

Plano transportation history is brought back to life with this interesting exhibit. Once a vital part of the Texas Electric Railway which stretched from Denison to Waco, the Interurban is one of the original electric cars that ran on the tracks through Plano. Also on site is Car 360 which carried mail, as well as passengers. Open Monday thru Friday from 10:00am-2:00pm and Saturday from 1:00pm-5:00pm. Known as the "world's most famous ranch", Southfork Ranch has attracted millions of visitors ever since it became the homestead of the fictional Ewing clan from the hit TV show, "Dallas". Tram Tour departs the Visitors Center, taking guests through International Drive, proudly flying flags representing some of the 96 countries where "Dallas" has been broadcast. You will also be able to view Texas longhorns and American quarter horses.
At the famed Ewing Mansion, a tour guide will give interesting tidbits about the years of filming and insight into the characters of "Dallas". Guests are given a full guided tour of the "most famous white house west of D.C.".
As guests depart the mansion, they can stroll through the ranch grounds, and stop and visit "Lincolns and Longhorns," displaying Jock Ewing's original 1978 Lincoln Continental. Guests can shop here for Dallas-inspired men's and ladies apparel, decor, and accessories.

The Heard-Craig House, built in 1900, is one of the most beautifully preserved historic homes in North Texas.  The gracious hospitality of S. D. Heard and his wife, Lillie, made this residence a center of social, business, art and literary activities. The family’s heirlooms, art objects, personal memorabilia and furniture remain in the home today. 
Thanks to the foresight of the Heard’s daughter, Kathryn (Katie), the Heard family home has been preserved so that future generations can “learn somewhat of the past.”  It was Kathryn Heard Craig’s dream that her family home be used for the “education and enlightenment of the women of McKinney.”  She believed that by providing a “club house” where the women’s clubs could meet  that they would continue to flourish; and provide personal enrichment and education to their members.  Clubs with a cultural, literary or educational focus have had the privilege of meeting in the Heard-Craig facilities since 1971.
