An exciting night out isn’t very hard to come by in Plano. For years people in the Dallas area have flocked to Plano to shop, dine, and take part in the nightlife scene. With chef-driven unique restaurants, restaurants with live music and dancing, attractions, and plenty of events, there’s many options for a memorable date night or night out with friends.

Live Music & Dancing

Live music feels like it’s always in arms reach of wherever you are in Plano. The live music scene here is stronger than ever before. Even locals may be surprised to learn there are more than 25 venues across the city that offer some sort of live music on a regular basis. If you enjoy getting-up on your feet to the beat of the music, try Sambuca 360 at The Shops at Legacy. In the Downtown Plano Arts District, there’s the new McCall Plaza for live music events. Ready for a nightly culinary adventure? From the Downtown Plano Arts District to Legacy West and The Shops at Legacy and everywhere in between, there are over 800 restaurants in Plano covering all culinary genres. See our complete list of Plano restaurants here.

At both Legacy West and The Shops at Legacy enjoy dinner and drinks at the many popular restaurants like: Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, Earls Kitchen + Bar, Fleming’s Steakhouse, Kenny’s Smokehouse, Mesero, Mexican Sugar, North Italia, RA Sushi, Tommy Bahama, True Food Kitchen, Haywire, Taverna, Toulouse, KĀI, Fogo de Chao, and soon Bistro 31.

KĀI is unique in that it is a restaurant combined with an elegant lounge that allows diners to have a complete evening of drinks, entertainment and a special culinary experience. Mingle in the lounge, at one of three bars, or on one of the two stunning patios overlooking Legacy West. The restaurant serves classic Asian dishes with a modern touch, in addition to a broad range of Pan Asian dishes.

On top of all of that, Legacy Hall is a one-of-a-kind artisanal food hall experience with equal parts premium food hall, beer garden, craft brewery and live entertainment. With 22 chef-driven artisan food stalls and half a dozen bars, each presents its own unique personality. The third floor houses a fully functioning craft brewery, Unlawful Assembly Brewery & Tap Room, featuring classic pub fare and 21 operating tanks used to crank out its portfolio of premium year-round beers, along with a rotating tap selection of highly creative, collaborative and seasonal beers.

The Boardwalk at Granite Park is a restaurant destination with a wooden boardwalk overlooking a waterfront with a fire feature, game areas, and beachy deck chairs. There you have a variety of restaurants from homemade biscuit creations to a brewery.

Downtown Plano Art & Walk Walks
On the second Thursday of each month April through December, bring your group to downtown Plano for our popular Art & Wine Walk event. Sample wine while enjoying live music, curated art exhibitions, and special discounts from nearby shops.

Pinstack
Pinstack is a 50,000 square foot venue featuring a 28-lane bowling experience, ropes course suspended 20 feet above the gaming center, two-story laser tag, bumper cars, LED lit six-lane rock climbing walls, hundreds of interactive games, and simulator technology.
